-4 lbs! *hits the chicken head*

Excuse me for a moment...*hits chicken head, dougie, and cooking dance to "Rack City"*
Ok, I'm back! Ok. This week was...to say the least hard...but isn't it always hard when you are trying to lose weight? I was so scare to jump on that scale this morning. I actually cheated and hopped on it last night, which I shouldn't have because my weight was COMPLETELY off! I got on, saw the numbers...got off, and stepped on it again. I couldn't believe it!!! It was CRAZY! I was like, 4 lbs., on my own? Whoop whoop *dance break*
This time last year, I was on a hardcore Dr. Ian's Fat Smash Diet. It was worth it. It was easier because I didn't have a job, so I really had nothing to do but exercise all day, and cook, which made following the diet super easy. This time around, I have a job, and it isn't as easy. I haven't followed ANY of Dr. Ian's tips, well except portion control.
Knowing that it is hard for me to diet, I was THANKFUL for my brother's girlfriend telling me about MyFitnessPal.com. It's kind of like a free Weight Watchers. It tracks your calories and fitness, gives you goals and whatnot. It's super easy, and did I say it's FREE?!? It has helped me a lot with my calorie intake. I always go under my daily calorie goal, which is AWESOME, and I also worked out all week.
Ladies, if you hate the gym (like I do) and you have a Wii, I suggest you get the new Zuumba. It's fun, you dance, and you burn plenty of calories. Most of the week, I did it for only 20 minutes, and burned like 300 calories. 45 minutes, is about 600-700 calories. I am working my way up to a full length class, which I am thinking is an hour, but I am not sure! My brother also got the UFC trainer for our connect (Yes, I know...too many game systems) and it is pretty good. That one is all about building muscle. I don't do 15 minutes of that, and I burn almost 200 calories. So with these workouts, you are burning almost 1,000 calories a day.
If you don't have a kinect, they have the UFC trainer for the Wii and PS3 Move. I will also suggest getting the Wii Active. It's a pretty nice workout and that's what I did last year.
I am working toward a goal of losing 30 pounds by my birthday. I have the eye of the tiger *cues music*
As far as my eating habits, they sucked! After I stepped off the scale, I wondered how much more I could have lost had I eaten right. I have to add more fruits and veggies to my diet, which is KEY!
All in all, I am happy about the results, because I worked hard all week, only missing one day because I was being lazy. Which is cool, you can miss one day.
Anyway, I'm out!
