It's been a long time coming, hasn't it? I fell FAR! As you can tell from the above photo. I gained every single pound, and then some! Those 40 pounds I lost before, let's just say the found their way back fairly quickly! I will say, my road back to weight loss, and overall health is a little different than last time!
So, I spent my Christmas in North Carolina last year! Much fun. Lots of food and drink! Ha! It was good times! Before then, I had talked to my cousin about Herbalife. She was telling me how she had done really well with it. So, when I went to see her, she surprised me with some! I was so excited! We decided to go on the journey together, and let me just say, my results have been amazing!

We came up with an overall weight loss goal, and a short term goal. Mine was to lose 80 pounds total, and to lose 30 by my birthday on March 31. She has been my rock in all of this. I call or text her when I don't understand things, or when I just need to be motivated. I've changed so much and just these short months, it's crazy. Working out has become part of my daily routine, just like brushing my teeth. It is a MUST! I go crazy if I miss 1 workout, let alone days!
My daily routine consists of:
I get up for work at around 330a-4a.
Do my normal routine. I drink my first shake at around 7 or 8, depending. I try to drink a shake at least 2-3 hours after I wake up.
My second shake is usually around 12, at lunch time. I try to space them out so I'm not overdoing it. I also will eat a healthy snack in between.
I usually get home around 2. Most days I take a nap, because the early mornings KILL me! LOL
I workout either when I first get home, or around 5 or 6.
I eat a full dinner at around 6 or 7 so I am not eating too late!
My workouts consist of:
I do Zumba at my church every Tuesday and Thursday.
I bought Nike+ training for the Kinect, which I like sometimes! LOL
I also have Hip Hop Abs, and Rocking Body. I really HATE the gym, and totally refuse to go. LOL
I really want T25. May get that soon.
I also go to a trainer twice a month, just to do something out of the ordinary, plus she's fantastic!!
All in all, I just say do what works for you. Herbalife is a great supplement, and I don't really do it everyday. I try to change it up so I can shock my body and avoid the dreaded plateau.
Also, just like before, I've been kind of following the Fat Smash Diet. I've revamped it, because I still drink alcohol every once in a while. I also didn't want to completely cut out carbs. The last time I did, I gained weight back too fast. I wanted to keep it steady so that it's not a huge shock when I incorporate other carbs. I still don't eat fried foods, bread, or fast food. I eat potatoes every once in a while. I try to stick to organic foods as well. I read EVERYTHING that is on the box or bag. I want to make sure I know and understand what everything is that I am putting into my body. That is what is most important!
So, now to the good part, MY RESULTS!! LOL
Since December 31, 2013, as of 2 days ago, I've lost a total of 24 pounds!! Whoop whoop! Get it! *hits the chickenhead*
The best part about it is, looking in the mirror and SEEING the results. I'm loving every minute of it! My goal WAS 30 by the end of march. I'm actually hoping I can lose these 6 pounds by the end of this month! I lost 18 pounds in the first month. I was not happy, because I was really wanted to lose 20. I hopped on it, but then I kind of fell off, and this month is almost over and I've only lost 6. I'm not too upset, because I know what happened, and what I need to fix!
So, I leave you with this!
I'm getting there, and can't wait to see the end results. My main motivation: I'm doing this for ME!!! I don't really care what others think of me or my size, as long as I know I'm happy, I am okay with that!
